*   Responsive Support for Violence Prevention Coordinator   *

Gándara Center is looking for an RSVP Coordinator to join our family.

The RSVP Coordinator will facilitate groups with residential youths. This position works one-on-one with youth and provides case management to help achieve goals.



  • Associates Degree OR  Equivalent College Credit Courses


  • Psychology
  • Education
  • Counseling
  • Human Service related field


  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

  • Working around interpersonal violence

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good driving history
  • Knowledge of upbringing experiences of young people of diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) (preferred)



  • Work with social workers and residential staff to identify treatment goals for the youth
  • Coordinate with the agency’s programs and services to deliver collaborative intervention and prevention services to youth
  • Work with identified youth and appropriate staff to create safety plans
  • Provide intense weekly case management and follow up with social workers
  • Coordinate or host bimonthly events with guest speakers, for opportunities for peer networking, job fairs, college/vocational training and other events that are of interest for identified youth
  • Maintain database of contact information
  • Provide information for reporting purposes
  • Demonstrate empathy, support and compassion to clients in daily interactions
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Weekly/monthly billing and reporting
