STARR (Short Term Assessment Rapid Reunification)
The short-term (14–45 days), co-ed program provides shelter and assess youth who are moved from one housing unit to another. Services include: comprehensive assessment; medication management; individual and family therapy; anger management and life skills group; education support; sensory therapy; transportation; recreation; and comprehensive case management using a trauma-informed approach. Each STARR facility has a mix of respite and assessment beds.
